Summary
From an early passion for technology, I launched Render Results at age 14 to offer affordable digital marketing and web development services to small businesses. Over five years, I served 15+ clients—ranging from solo entrepreneurs to $1M+ revenue companies—delivering over 20 websites, 1M+ social impressions, and 4,000+ followers. I independently developed skills in sales, client relations, project management, digital marketing, and business strategy. The experience taught me how to build brands, solve complex problems creatively, and manage projects from pitch to launch. I concluded the business in 2025 to begin college, equipped with a strong foundation in both technical execution and entrepreneurial leadership.
The Beginning
From a young age, I developed a deep interest in computers and technology. Around the age of ten, I began experimenting with coding languages, website creation, and software development. Although I lacked advanced technical skills at that age, this early exposure laid a strong foundation for future learning and growth.
In 2020, at the age of fourteen, I built my first website using only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The goal was to promote myself as a competitive golfer to college programs. I relied entirely on free online resources such as YouTube and W3Schools to complete the project. The experience sparked a question: could I turn these skills into a business? Given my age, I could offer very affordable services to small businesses that might not otherwise have access to quality web development. This idea led to the launch of Render Results in February 2020.
The Work
I started by designing websites at no cost for a local church and a small business to build my portfolio. Through referrals and networking, I began taking on subcontract work, primarily on platforms like Squarespace. It quickly became clear that in order to grow, I needed to develop basic sales and communication skills. I turned once again to free online resources to learn the fundamentals of sales and client engagement. By the end of that year, I had completed several projects and expanded my services to include email marketing, SEO, and general marketing strategy—areas in which I earned certifications to demonstrate my competence. In December 2020, I secured my first full-service digital marketing client.
From 2021 onward, I continued refining my technical expertise while gaining valuable experience working with a diverse set of clients. This experience helped me develop soft skills such as negotiating pricing, managing expectations, and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Results
Render Results concluded in May 2025 as I prepared to begin college, but the skills I gained over five years of entrepreneurship have proven invaluable. By the time I closed the business, I had:

My core service offering revolved around digital marketing—primarily through social media and email campaigns. I learned how to craft compelling brand narratives, build social proof, and deliver measurable results for clients.

Operating Render Results provided real-world experience in running a business. I developed a practical understanding of pricing, positioning, marketing strategy, and customer service. These lessons continue to shape how I approach problem-solving and decision-making today.
Brand Development
Helping businesses build a compelling online presence required a deep understanding of branding. I worked closely with clients to identify their target audience, shape their messaging, and ensure consistency across websites, social platforms, and marketing materials. From tone of voice to visual identity, I focused on telling a cohesive story that communicated trust and value—often for clients who were launching their brand for the first time.
Creative Problem Solving
Each client engagement came with its own set of challenges—limited budgets, vague project scopes, tight timelines, or technical limitations. I regularly had to think creatively to deliver results despite these constraints. Whether it was finding low-cost solutions, translating unclear goals into actionable tasks, or troubleshooting unexpected issues during a launch, I learned how to approach problems analytically and deliver practical solutions that worked.
